This is a genuine 6L6 tube, not relabeled or re-pinned stock. Perfect for older Fender amps, Peavey tube combos, Marshall JTM 45's- you name it- if it calls for a 6L6GC, this is the tube for you.
Referred to as the "Super 6L6", this tube was modeled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "Blackplate" tubes of yesteryear. Featuring larger plates and redesigned grids for better power handling, this extremely rugged tube has extra thick mica spacers with metal springs, designed to eliminate rattling, ringing, and microphonics.
These genuine 6L6 tubes will give a good deal more power than the relabeled 5881 tubes, and distort very nicely when pushed hard, with excellent tube compression. In high fidelity applications with lower plate voltages, as well as lower preamp gain circuits, these tubes will offer stunning clarity and punch, and will allow your amplifier circuit to develop full rated power when installed and biased properly.
This is one of the few "real" 6L6 tubes available today, and a great choice for your vintage Fender amplifier- and with the premium SRS testing and matching, you can be assured that your amplifier will never sound better.

Sovtek 5751

Can you say Stevie Ray? These tonally superior preamp tubes feature slightly less overall gain than a standard 12AX7 tube, and will work in any circuit which calls for a 12AX7, cutting the gain a small amount in comparision, in most instances allowing for a slightly cleaner, sweeter tone to shine through. Have an older Fender, and want to be sparkly clean at loud volumes? Maybe you have a Mesa, and the overdrive is just a bit too much?
